Frequently Asked Questions

Information Technology Management (S301) (B.A.S.)

  1. Can I attend part time?
    Yes. Only a few bachelor level courses have prerequisites so students would have to plan their schedules accordingly.

  2. Can I start any term?
    Yes. Courses will be available for new students each term.

  3. Can I start and stop as needed?
    Yes, students can start and stop as needed as long as they complete the program within the required time frame (five years from start of catalog date). Students cannot start and stop as needed in a course already started.

  4. What are the deadlines for the program requirements?
    All program requirements are due by the application deadline for the term.

  5. If transferring from another school, do I need my transcripts?
    If you are a transfer student coming from another school, we strongly recommend sending your transcript for evaluation four weeks prior to the application deadline.

  6. I have my A.A. degree, what will my degree program consist of?
    In the majority of cases, when you enter the program with an A.A. degree, all of your general education courses will be complete. Therefore, you will be required to complete 42 lower division credits in information technology and 42 credits for the major.

  7. I have my A.S. degree, what will my degree program consist of?
    You will have to complete the rest of your general education requirements and 42 credits for the major.

  8. What is the focus of the bachelor’s degree program in Information Technology Management?
    This program is designed to provide students with a combination of technology skills and knowledge of business operations to become successful managers and organizational leaders.
