EEC 1001 - Introduction to Early Childhood Education


This course introduces basic principles and practices involved in guiding the young child. The course includes history and objectives of early childhood programs, child care issues, center licensing standards, and classroom activity planning.
Prerequisites: Satisfactory scores on all placement tests.
Corequisites: EDG 2940 or CHD 1220.
