EEX 4231 - Assessing Progress of Young Children with Special Needs


In this course, students gain knowledge to plan assessments for the purposes of identification and diagnosis, program planning and program evaluation for children birth through 8 years of age. This course will familiarize students to methods and instruments to assess infants and young children with exceptionalities. Students learn to use assessment data to plan interventions and instruction. Field experience required (minimum of 6 contact hours).
