INT 1000 - Introduction to Interpreting


This course is an introduction to the basic theories, guidelines, principles and practices of interpreting, including the role of the interpreter, professional behavior and the ethics of interpreting. Environmental considerations of communication and interpreting will be discussed. The course also includes pre-interpreting skills.
