NUR 4286 - Gerontology and End of Life Care


This course examines the aging process and its impact on individuals, families, and the community. End of life issues, care options and settings, and the impact of the elderly on society are explored. The focus is on the application of current gerontological theory to the care of diverse populations of aging clients and their families.
Prerequisites: NUR 3805, NUR 3125, NSP 3185, NUR 3164, NUR 3846 and NUR 3636C.
