NUR 4895 - Teaching and Learning for Nursing Professionals

This course is an introductory course to the process of nursing and health education, teaching, and learning and evaluation. The BSN student will learn to develop learner and course objectives and outcomes as well as explore a variety of teaching and learning strategies to use in various settings with different age groups and cultural considerations. The course will include patient and staff education, including individual and groups.
Prerequisites: NUR 3805, NUR 3125, NSP 3185, NUR 3164, NUR 3846 and NUR 3636C.
