PHT 2220C - Physical Agents and Mechanical Modalities

The course covers the theory, physiological effects, indications, contraindications and application of physical agents and mechanical and electrotherapeutic modalities commonly used in physical therapy. A laboratory component provides students with an opportunity to apply and practice skills with an emphasis on safety, effectiveness and efficiency.
Prerequisites: PHT 1200C.
Corequisites: PHT 2252C.
