JOU 2100 - News Reporting and Writing

This course introduces basic news reporting ideas and skills, including writing news leads, organizing stories, interviewing, ethics and the role of the reporter. Students should know how to type and use a computer. Students will gain practical experience by writing for the student newspaper.
Prerequisites: ENC 1101 with a grade of “C” or better.
Degrees Offered: A.A.
