Recommended Course Sequence: Nursing (B.S.N.)


This course sequence is a recommendation only. Course sequencing and program content are subject to change based on State requirements. Students should view the Nursing (N200) (B.S.N.)  program page for program requirements and additional information.

It is recommended that all students receive advising a minimum of one time per year in order to ensure quality advising.

Minimum Program Requirements


Applicants must meet all minimum program requirements  prior to consideration for acceptance to the B.S.N. program. The following courses are a part of those minimum program requirements.

General Education


General Education from A.S. degree program Credit Hours: 30
General Education Humanities Elective Credit Hours: 3
   Refer to A.S./A.A.S. General Education Requirements 

Human Nutrition


*Course must be completed with a grade of “C” or better prior to the first day of enrollment in the B.S.N. program.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing Professional Courses


The B.S.N. course sequence builds on previously acquired knowledge while introducing new concepts.

Students may not enroll in the following courses unless they have been admitted to the B.S.N. program.
