Frequently Asked Questions

Business Administration (T200) (B.S.)

  1. Where will the classes held?
    All seated classes (hybrid) will be at the Kent Campus and several classes are also available at other campuses.

  2. Can I attend either as a part-time or full-time student?
    Yes. You will have five years from the term you are admitted to complete the program.

  3. What format will be used for my classes?
    Most classes are eight weeks long and offered online and in a hybrid format; half of the class time will be spent on campus in a seated classroom and half of the class time will be spent working online. The online time will allow you to pace your study to better fit your personal schedule.

  4. Is there an accelerated version of this degree?
    The program is already structured to be accelerated. All courses are taught in an accelerated eight-week format.

  5. Can I complete the entire program online?
    Yes, this program is available completely online!

  6. Will daytime classes be offered?
    Beginning Spring 2012 we are offering a select number of classes in the daytime.

  7. How long is the program?
    Students must complete a total of 120 credits to earn a B.S. in Business Administration. Since students entering the program will have already completed an associate’s degree, students who are enrolled fulltime will be able to complete the bachelor’s degree within approximately two years. Completion for part-time students will depend on the number of credit hours the student is enrolled in each term.

  8. What are the requirements for the essay?
    Your essay should be 12 point Times New Roman font, double spaced and one inch margins. Please include your name (same as on transcripts), the last four digits of your social security number and the term for which you are seeking admissions.

  9. What happens if my official transcripts from other colleges are not received by the published deadline?
    You will not be considered as a candidate for the term in which you missed the deadline. You can however request to be a candidate for the following term.

  10. Must I see an advisor before enrolling?
    Yes, advising is required prior to initial enrollment in the program. During this advising session an individualized plan will be developed based on your prior coursework.

  11. When will I see my advisor?
    Students that are accepted into the program will receive notification of a prearranged advising appointment and mandatory orientation.
